☆ QUICKIES

⏩ quickspam, ecats style for those little threads that probably don't really need full-on logs or if you just wanna boomerang something quick. no plotting required, just slam it down here! this applies to threads in and out of games c:

I get a pretty good idea from looking around [ah, to be young and naive and steering them toward a nonsense dungeon-] but I haven't tried making a map before. Usually it's just about the data.

[What architectural features say about a culture's technology, beliefs, and influences... All that good stuff]

But I mean, if your friends are strong and smart and awesome, what would you say about yourself?

undisputed fact, put it in books

[Usually, he'd scout out an area as-is. Map out that territory and note enemy movements... But what Prompto suggests seems kind of fun.

Then again, having company is where it's really at for 9S]

Guess I could... [more acknowledgement than commitment] The things you said before, they aren't what those guys do. They're qualities.

[Which means he circles right back to-]

So what about you?

none should forget

In other words, you're kind.

[9S nods as they make their way up the slope, apparently satisfied with that answer. It's the word he'd have chosen, too. Good to know Prompto can see it in himself.

His attention seems to be on the structure up ahead, and he lapses into silence before he adds-]

That's rarer than you might think.

[He's obviously pleased, but not for the reasons Prompto might expect. Having never had the chance to interact with humans before, there's a certain satisfaction in knowing that he can relate to one.

9S isn't sure he'd characterize himself in the same terms that he would his human companion, but he's easily flustered too.

It's comforting, in a way, to know that androids really do resemble their creators even if they know so little about them]

Especially to strangers [like himself] I've noticed people are less inclined to concern themselves. It's not unreasonable, but it makes some stand out.
